Beginners

  • This class teaches the long form of Tai Chi and is suitable for beginners.

  • No prior experience is required to join.

  • The class runs for approximately four months and meets for two hours per session. After completing the four-month course, the class restarts for new students.

Please refer to the FAQ section provided below for additional information.

Continuing Level 1

  • This class is for those that have completed or have made it through most of the beginner’s program.

  • Instruction is lighter with a focus on practicing the sequence of the set.

Continuing Level 2

  • More emphasis on details of the moves and the form. Greater focus on foundations to build strength, flexibility, and balance.

  • A set is usually done during class, but sometimes this can be missed depending on moves/sequence being worked on.

Maxx Class

  • This class is highly demanding, both physically and mentally,
and places a deeper emphasis on understanding the form in much finer detail. A commitment to train is required.

  • MAXX class is a platform for instruction when the participant is ready, although it is not essential to be an instructor to participate in this class.

  • MAXX participants are invited to the class, however, requests to join are also welcome.
